Qualifications

Associate Diploma of Business (Accounting), Bachelor of Business (Professional Accounting), public practice certificate from CPA Australia.

Professional

In 1995, Adam started work at Peter Heaslop Rural Accounting Services, preparing business plans for farming businesses. Then in 1997, he commenced work as an external auditor with Price Waterhouse.  In 1999 he commenced work for BDO as an external auditor auditing financial statements and was responsible for due diligence assignments while at BDO. In 2000, he worked as the company accountant at the head offices of the Sealy Bedding manufacturer. In 2002 he became the company accountant for a national retail chain called – The Perfume Connection.

Adam earned his public practice certificate from CPA Australia in 2005 and then became a director and shareholder of Business Taxation Accounting & Consulting Services Pty Ltd. In 2015, Adam formed Liberty Wealth Group and is currently the managing director, providing business advice, taxation, and accounting services to SME businesses.

Adam has an extensive background in state and federal politics including policy development and local political leadership and ran against Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, for the seat of Inala in the 2015 Queensland state election.

Others

In addition, Adam has served as a church leader for 20 years and has become a strong advocate for religious freedom, self-reliance, and community service. Furthermore, Adam’s church leadership capabilities have allowed him to be involved in interfaith dialogue and supporting community relief projects.

Adam brings to Research and Policy House substantiate experience and expertise in professional accountancy, business acumen, political and church leadership, and a strong interest in community advocacy.
